| Wednesday, August 11, 2010
" The Fast is to be observed for a fixed number of days. If, however, anyone of you be sick or on a journey, he should fast the same number of other days. As for those who can fast (but do not), the expiation of this shall be the feeding of one needy person for one fast day, and whoso does more than this with a willing heart does it for his own good. But if you understand the thing, it is better for you to observe the Fast."
 Al-Baqarah : 184..

Fasting..lots of advantages.Study found that reducing the rate of food can help the body improve its function. But many among the Muslim umah not realize that they actually have adopted this diet program is planned each year.. and a coach who is organizing this program is making our own, that Allah s.w.t.
If we look at food and drink now that we take each day contains a variety of chemicals which our bodies can not get rid of it. Fasting is the best way to remove the toxic body.

Wanna stay young? Fasting can be a simple and inexpensive therapy to maintain youthful skin. Study by Dr. EJ Masora from the faculty of Psychology, University of Texas to prove this fact. according to him, reducing 50-70% of food daily to a rat study, is able to prevent disease and prolong life. this is because of fasting give chance to our body to clear the unwanted/damage cells continuously, and this hindered the process of aging.
In addition, fasting therapy known as the Antiaging Action of Caloric Restriction (CR), help to reduce the need for protein in the body and helps the cells rest with its good and safe manner.

dear gurlz, here i wanna share a few tips how to stay energetic and fresh during fasting :

1. do not leave taking `sahur`
2. break-fast on time
3. arrange your daily menu ( balance diet)
4. avoid cold and sweet drinks (stomach will be bloated due to acid in the stomach was surprised)
5. DON`T SLEEP after `sahur` (can effect metabolic process due unnecessary digestion)
6. drinks lots water ( at least 8 glass before start fasting)

Happy Ramadhan and may this Ramadhan full of blessings and gratitude...
