| Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Today is already wednesday and maybe some of us have forgotten their aim and self-motivation before this study week came in. If this happen to you at the middle of your study week, this sign show you that you need to revive the motivation, plan and schedule that you've developed. This sign also may show you that you have failed to develop an effective plan and schedule at the beginning of this study week. The first thing you need is a to replan. You need to answer some questions.

1. What is my schedule like during the week of the exam?

2. Do I have other exams or paper due?

3. Will I have all week to prepare or will I have to study over the weekend?

4. How many pages of notes and exercises are there?

5. How many chapter do I have to read?

All of those question will help you answer one basic question

How much time will I need?

The answer will depend on how much work you have done so far. It's a crucial question because the next xtep will be come to come up with a plan.

Start with the day one week before the exam. And this is the reason why we are having a study week now. Depends on you whether if you've changed this week to a leasure week. That's the first day to start studying in earnest. Literally plan out how many hours youwill spend each day studying untill the exam. Make a shedule and stick with it. Be sure to leave time for group study or review session. Also break up the materials in to parts and cover a little each day. Once you have a game plan, it's time to get to work. There is no one way to go about this.Remeber it is important to come out with a system that works on you!

All the very best to all UTP students in your final exam!
