Vote Tomorrow! Your Responsibility!

Assalamualaikum and hi to all readers. It is a clear tittle about asking your responsibility to go and vote for the right candidates. By this time, every student in UTP should aware of this important calling. 


1. HELWI UTP is one student organization that see the responsibility of voting is going to affect how the voice, welfare and the right of students is going to be preserved. Do you all know about this fact "If you don't vote, you lose the right to complain"

2. As HELWI UTP, we are really serious about our function which is to provide the best platform on the behalf of female students. 


3. Therefore, we would like to show our full support to Nurrizzati Binti Ramli, candidate no. 5, with the manifesto as mentioned as stated below:

"A Leader With Result." Salam & hi everyone. :) First & foremost, I would like to send my gratitude to all my beloved supporters and UTP members. My name is Nurizzati binti Ramli and currently study in 2nd year, 2nd semester from Chemical Engineering Department. In my manifesto, I had fight for two important issues: 1. Student's right. 2. Platform for female students. Let me share a little bit about my suggested solution: 1. Conduct open discussion between management, RCSU and students' representative to discuss about the residential college problems. 2. Assalammualaikum to all sisters. As we all informed, Kelas Tentang Dunia Hawa (TDH) will be conducted every week. We would like to remind you about the TDH for this week and it will be an exrtraordinary TDH. The TDH for this week will bring one special topic about academic awareness and it is just for this week. The tittle that Ms Ainol Rahmah Shazi Shaarani will deliver tomorrow is "Goodbye Mediocrity; Hello Excellence!" The day, time and venue will be the same as usual TDH. See you there! :)

7 Strong Reasons to Come to HELWI UTP booth in MMK

Today is the second day of MMK week and tomorrow will be the last day for all clubs and student body to open their booth and entertaining students. Looking at the tittle, you must be thinking that we are just exaggerating the topic. But we are not. We are true here that, not coming to HELWI UTP booth is a loss :P

1. Cute GIVEAWAY!

Have you seen any students or lecturers are holding a cute flower paper glued with a cute colourful candy? It is a free giveaway from HELWI UTP. Every person who come to our booth will be give this cute flower paper and candy, but with one easy requirement. You are required to sign in your facebook account in our booth (laptop and internet access are provided) and LIKE our facebook fanpage in facebook named HELWI UTP. As easy as that! ;)

2. Ladies' Valency info & recruitment.

Due to a very big event called Intellectual Festival and Ladies' Valency itself, we encourage you to save that date for not missing all fun sub-event facilitated, and the the chance to meet the selebrities/ public figure we have invited. In Ladies' Valency itself, don't miss the chance to meet Prof Dr. Muhaya, Wardina Saffiyah, Ustaz Hasrizal, Ustaz Pahrol and Maria Elena. So come to our booth to see the date, info, and which event are they belong to. For the Ladies' Valency recruitment, yes we are still opening it for the new committees that suit our requirement. Do ask it in our booth.

3. Go Shopping!
We brought the shopping and blink-blink to our campus so you can buy it from us. But it's all are girls stuff, unless boy want to buy something for their mother, sisters, or wife :) You can find pashmina, brooch, socks, and hand sock too. Want a clear picture of what are we selling now? Go window shopping here :)

4. Buy Cupcake & Dadih
Thank you so much to HELWI committee for baking all those delicious cupcakes and dadih :) It taste very good and the price is very cheap that you have to come and buy it! Dadid - RM1, Cupcake - RM1.20

5. Your Voice
Ladies out there, do you know that we are preparing one banner for you to doodle your idea, expectation and opinion to HELWI UTP. This is the second day but the banners are fulled with people's doodle already! Do we need to put another one banner for tomorrow?

6. Pink Hijab Competition
Pink Hijab Competition is a photo competition designed for the girls out there. Have you heard of Pink Hijab Day organised by HELWIUTP previous semester? So this is a continuation, and as hit up activities competition for our Ladies' Valency this coming March. The most important thing here is, the winners will receive the prize during the Chill Floor night with Kak Wardina Safiyyah :) To get more info about the competition, click here.

7. Video/ Montage/ Short Movie Competition
Forum Baitul Muslim, as well all know, is the annual event will be held on this March organised by HELWIUTP. In conjunction with the Forum Baitul Muslim 2012, we are opening video/montage/short movie competition for all students, especially vlogger freak, media geek out there! To register, come to our booth and get some info about this competition tomorrow, the last day of MMK.

We prove Strong reasons right? Like seriously! See you tomorrow! :D

Pink Hijab Competiton

Pink Hijab Competition is a photo competition as a continuation activities for the previous Pink Hijab Day on the last semester organised by HELWI UTP. Alhamdulillah this event have received a great number of attention and participation from students especially Muslim female students in our campus. In conjunction with the launch of Ladies' Valency 2012, this photo competition registration is open only for female student since this Minggu Mesra Campus week. 

In this photo competition, the paticipants have to take a photo of her with the most creative, stylish pink hijab ( scarf, shawl, pashmina, etc) and at the same time and the most important part is, complete the covering of aurah. All the photos will not be published to the media by the organiser. We are calling all girls out there to join this competition and the registartion is open now in, you can start to register at HELWI UTP booth in MMK side or call Aida (013-6619778) . All the rules and regulation are stated below.

Rules & Regulations:

1. All participants should register to HELWI UTP and the fee is RM 2 for each photo.

2. Only one photo is accepted from one participant.

3. Complete cover the aurah is a must.

4. The photo should be originally from the participants.

4. Only the first 20 photos registered are accepted to participate this competition

5. The 3 best winner will be selected.

6. Every updates about this competition will be updated to participant's email account.

7. The winners will be announced during the 'Chill Floor' night with Wardina Safiyyah.

The criteria needed for the winner:

1. The photo that suit with the theme (pink hijab) only can be selected.

2. Convey the message and the beauty of hijab and covering aurah.

3. All the decision from judges is final and not changable.
